Leading, and Advancing Women’s
Leadership Across the Globe

Busara Africa, with support from Co-Impact, is leading a Community of Practice (CoP) for organisations implementing Women in Leadership initiatives across the law and economics sectors. Designed as a space for peer learning, reflection, and strategy-sharing, the CoP supports partners during the critical design phase of institutional change efforts. Through virtual open houses, learning circles, coaching sessions, key informant interviews, and in-person workshops, participants exchange practical strategies, strengthen capability, and build a connected learning community.
A key milestone was the launch of Phase 2 at a convening in Phuket, Thailand (7–9 October 2025), which brought together 30 partners from 15 organisations across India, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Brazil, and Mexico. Over three days, participants explored barriers to women’s leadership, organisational culture change, and institutional capability through trust-building, peer learning, and co-creation. As the CoP moves forward, Busara Africa remains committed to translating reflection into action, strengthening leadership practice and advancing inclusive, sustainable institutional change.
