Busara Africa Hosts Successful
In-PersonConvening for Women
in Leadership Community of Practice in Naivasha, Kenya

Busara Africa recently convened the Women in Leadership (WiL) Community of Practice (CoP), bringing together 10 Co-Impact partners from Kenya, Nigeria, and India. These leaders are dedicated to driving transformative institutional change to advance women’s leadership in the fields of law and economics across their respective countries. As part of its commitment to supporting these partners through the design phase of their initiative, Busara hosted an impactful in-person gathering in Naivasha, Kenya.

The in-person convening served as an intensive collaborative workshop, offering partners a unique opportunity to refine their change initiative modules, gain fresh insights, and foster meaningful connections. During the convening, partners worked toward three primary objectives: refining and finalising Modules 1 and 2 of their initiatives, engaging in peer-to-peer learning to enhance analysis and envision future institutional goals, and fostering a sense of community built on trust and shared purpose.

The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all attendees, who commended the valuable insights, productive interactions, and strong sense of community built during the convening. The collaborative spirit and shared commitment to driving transformative change made the event a truly memorable and impactful experience.

Busara Africa looks forward to continuing its support for these partners as they implement their initiatives, shaping the future of women’s leadership in law and economics across Kenya, Nigeria, and India.
