What is the Leadership We Want?

As COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc across Africa, millions are coming to realise the importance of strong leadership from our Governments.

The Leadership We Want is a declaration of the leadership we, as Africans,  expect from our Governments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Busara Africa has been part of many virtual conversations by African academia, civil society and the private sector where they have expressed in different ways the leadership they want to see from their governments.  Download the PDF version below of a summary of what we have heard them say.

The idea of the ‘The Leadership We Want’ is also inspired by the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want. Popular version.
